Saturday, Oct. 25
- Torrey Hills Shopping Center Fall Festival, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the corner of East Ocean Air Drive and Carmel Mountain Road.
Tuesday, Oct. 28
- Ocean Air Park Recreation Council meeting, 7 p.m. at the Carmel Valley Recreation Center, 3777 Townsgate Drive.
Wednesday, Oct. 29
- Del Mar/Solana Beach Optimist Club meeting, 7 a.m. at La Vida Del Mar, 850 Del Mar Downs Rd. in Solana Beach.
-Greater San Diego Hunter/Jumper Association finals at Del Mar Horsepark on the corner of El Camino Real and Via de la Valle. Show runs through Nov. 2. Hours: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Admission is free.
- Carmel Valley Library presents flutist Elena Yarritu, in a free music program at 7 p.m. Library is at 3919 Townsgate Drive.
- Carmel Del Mar School Restaurant Night at Souplantation in the Piazza Carmel Shopping Center, 3860 Valley Centre Drive, 5 to 8 p.m. All proceeds support the school’s library.
Thursday, Oct. 30
- Del Mar Rotary meeting, noon at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 334 14th St. in Del Mar. Guest speaker is Larry Boch, biotech entrepreneur.
Friday, Oct. 31
- Trick or Treating at Piazza Carmel Shopping Center, 3860 Valley Centre Drive, 4-6 p.m.
- Trick or Treating at Del Mar Highland Shopping Center, at Del Mar Heights Road and El Camino Real, 4-6 p.m. The band Repliphenics will also perform a free concert.
