Golf tourney upcoming

The Boys and Girls Clubs of San Dieguito is hosting the Chip-In-For-Kids Charity Golf Tournament on Sunday, Feb. 8, at the Torrey Pines Golf Course. The tournament takes place on the final Sunday of the Buick Invitational Tournament on the famed north course. The tournament benefits an organization that supports over 21,000 youths annually at the Del Mar branch, the Allred and Polster branches in Carmel Valley and the La Colonia and Harper branches in Solana Beach.

Foursomes or individual players can opt for the scramble flight, which starts at noon. The LBA Realty professional flight tees off at 7 a.m. and includes your own caddie, a Callaway Golf gift bag, weeklong tournament badges, pre-event breakfast and a barbeque lunch.
