- Tax-Aid program: 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 334 14th St. Free tax-preparation help for low- and middle-income taxpayers, with priority given to those ages 60 and older. Call 759-4286 for an appointment.

Wednesday, Feb. 25

Thursday, Feb. 26
- Youth craft time (ages 6 to 10): 4 to 4:45 p.m. Del Mar Library.
- Del Mar Kiwanis club: Noon at Red Tracton’s Restaurant, 550 Via De La Valle. Kiwanis is dedicated to helping children.
- Del Mar Rotary: Noon at St. Peters Episcopal Church. Jill McManigal, founder of Kids For Peace, will discuss her organization’s mission and their project to create and send Peace Packs to children around the world. They hold school supplies, toiletries, toys and a personal note of friendship.

Saturday, Feb. 28
- Craft table: 10 to 11 a.m. Del Mar Library. Public invited to come make crafts.
- Grandpa Wayne reads to children: 11 a.m. to noon. Del Mar Library.
