Garage sales to benefit foundation, Ocean Air

The Torrey Hills community is organizing a community garage sale on Saturday, March 7. The sale is a chance to clear some clutter and find some bargains and to give back to Del Mar Union School District teachers and students.

DMUSD parent Margaret Katzin spearheaded the communitywide sale, which will be held at individual houses, giving hosts the option to donate their proceeds to the Del Mar Schools Education Foundation and Ocean Air School.

“I know it is a little bit but I’m trying to make a little bit of difference to help,” Katzin said. Anyone interested in participating can contact Katzin at 663-1912 or by e-mail at mkatzin@hotmail.com
