Scientists place 12th in Olympiad

A team of sixth grade scientists from Torrey Hills School performed well in a regional Science Olympiad competition at Rancho Bernardo High on Feb. 7. The scientists placed 12th out of 71 teams after competing in events like bridge building, robotics, geology and more.

The team included Robert Francis, Kelsey Chen, Estafano Martinez, Zack Rousseau, Sean Bell, Melinda Wang, Rebecca Chen, Anna Park, Drew Christofferson with teacher Uma Krishnan.
