“On A Rail: Europe,” a surf movie by Solana Beach resident Tim Ryan, will premiere at Tidewater Tavern at 8 p.m. April 2.
A Tar Productions project, “On a Rail: Europe” follows three surfers, Dylan Graves, Blake Jones and Dane Ward, as they travel by train through Portugal, Spain, France and Scotland to ride powerful waves and experience different cultures.

Padres All Star first baseman and native San Diegan, Adrian Gonzalez, is the hosting the Celebrity Bowling Bash as he looks to raise awareness and aid to the Adrian and Betsy Gonzalez Foundation.
The foundation, established in 2008, was formed to empower underprivileged youth in three tiers; athletics, education and health. While each event focuses its support on a different tier, this bowling event will strengthen the “athletics” side as it supports San Pasqual Academy, a first-in-the-nation residential education campus designed specifically for foster teens here in San Diego.

San Diego Police Department is reminding parents that the curfew laws are in effect and officers will look for youth violating those laws during spring break, April 4 – 12.
The curfew within the city of San Diego is from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. the next day for individuals under the age of 18. The law is slightly different, for example, in the city of Poway where their curfew begins at 11 p.m. Even though you may be a resident of another jurisdiction, if you are a juvenile within the San Diego city limits the 10 p.m. the curfew law applies.
