North Coast Rep holds tropical-themed gala

North Coast Repertory Theatre held its fundraising event, “Shipwrecked! A Gala,” at Birch Aquarium on March 8. Many guests dressed in island chic attire for the “tropical” evening, which included silent and live auctions, dinner and dancing.

Marion Dodson was the honorary chairwoman, and Dori Patterson and Julie Sarno were the gala co-chairwomen. Stone Brewery, Union Bank of California and Holland America were among the corporate sponsors.

Approximately $100,000 was raised at the gala. The money will support productions and ongoing operations at North Coast Repertory Theatre.
