Traffic alert issued for I-8 in Mission Valley

A woman has jumped off the Interstate 805 bridge over Interstate 8 in Mission Valley, landing on the eastbound side of I-8, according to police and the California Highway Patrol.

It’s not immediately clear if she survived the fall. The CHP has issued a traffic alert for the area.
