Party in the Park draws crowd

Deputy Mayor Richard Earnest and his wife, Jacqee, paint a tile at the Party for the Park on April 4 that will be installed in the new 17th Street Safety Center when it is built. About $7,000 was raised for the lifeguard tower at the event, which also included fun crafts, food and a performance by Hullabaloo.
