CV supermarket bank robbed
An armed man robbed a supermarket bank branch in Carmel Valley but left employees unharmed, police said Thursday.
The robber walked up to a US Bank teller at the Vons grocery store at 4627 Carmel Mountain Road a little after 5 p.m. Wednesday and demanded cash, said San Diego police Sgt. Alan Hayward.
The robber, who had a gun tucked into the waistband of his jeans, then ran out of the store with cash, Hayward said.
