The North County Humane Society and SPCA is inviting mothers and their families to spend a magical evening giving back to animals in need at the 3rd Annual Paws to Celebrate gala fundraiser on Saturday, May 9, at Paradise Gardens in Oceanside.

For the fashion conscience, a pair of Michael Kors sunglasses; the sun lovers can enjoy a two night stay at the Sheraton Maui; the athletic will get in shape with yoga classes; and for the Mexican food lovers, meals from Rubios.

“When I shared with my mother that I was thinking of taking her to the event for Mother’s Day she was overjoyed,” said Julie Bank, Executive Director, NCHS. “What better way to celebrate the joys of motherhood, but to make a difference in the lives of homeless animals.”

The VIP reception will take place from 5 to 5:45 p.m., followed by a silent auction from 6 to 7:30 p.m., with dinner being served at 7:30 p.m. VIP tickets cost $175 and include a hosted reception with complimentary beer, wine, champagne and hors d’ oeuvres; plus a special preview of the silent auction items.
