Carmel Valley gas station robbed

Two masked men armed with shotguns robbed a gas station in Carmel Valley Friday morning, police said.

The men demanded cash from a clerk at the Shell gas station on Carmel Valley Road, near Interstate 5, shortly after 5 a.m., according to San Diego police.

The clerk complied and was not hurt, police said.
