St. James Academy student named ‘Athlete of the Meet’

Grant Zebold, an eighth-grader from St. James Academy, won the 100-, 200- and 400-meter races and was awarded “Athlete of the Meet” at the annual North County Parochial League Track Meet held May 9 at Cathedral Catholic High School.

With more than 700 athletes competing, the annual track meet draws 10 local parochial elementary schools. St. James finished third overall and was represented by more than 50 students.
