Lobster lovers find cause for celebration

Guests dish up at the second Lobster and Wine Festival, presented by the San Diego Coastal Chamber of Commerce last Saturday. A silent auction, which took place at the event, raised $24,000 – funds that will be used to help complete the purchase of the Shores property. ‘The evening was just perfect,’ said Barbara Mandel Pache, the Shores campaign coordinator for the Friends of the Del Mar Parks. Pache said 210 people attended. For more photos, click here.
