Jewel performs benefit concert

Three-time Grammy nominee Jewel performed at a benefit gala July 20 at the La Jolla estate of Joan Waitt. Proceeds from the outdoor concert benefited Promises2Kids, a San Diego nonprofit organization committed to mending the broken promises made to child abuse victims.

In addition to the concert, the event featured dinner catered by the Hyatt Regency La Jolla and a live auction.
