Rising ‘Star’

Two Grade 2 stakes races were held Aug. 1-2 at Del Mar Racetrack. In the San Clemente Handicap on Aug. 1, Starlarks rallied from last to first, nipping Strawberry Tart at the wire. The next day, Informed defeated Mast Track by a head in the San Diego Handicap.
