Boys of summer

The Rancho Santa Fe Community Center hosted a lacrosse day camp last week, allowing local boys to have fun honing their lacrosse skills. Second- through fifth-graders, some new to the game, learned the fundamentals of the challenging sport at the fields at Solana Santa Fe School. A second lacrosse camp will be held next week, Aug. 10 through 14, at the Rancho Santa Fe soccer fields. John Principi, a 1997 Torrey Pines High School graduate and current Torrey Pines lacrosse coach, will coach the camp. For more information, visit rsfcc.org.
