Counterfeit $100 bills being circulated in Del Mar

Del Mar village businesses are being warned to watch for counterfeit $100 bills.

The Del Mar Village Association sent out an alert to its members, urging local businesses to watch out for counterfeit $100 bills being circulated in the downtown. Extra precautions should be taken when tendering large denomination currency, DMVA says.
