Liquid Nation Ball to honor Flea

The surf industry’s Liquid Nation Ball will be held Sept. 11 at the home of Fernando Aguerre in La Jolla.

Musician Flea, of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, will be honored as the 2009 SIMA Humanitarian of the Year. Pro skateboarder Tony Hawk and Izzy Paskowitz of Surfers Healing will be presenting Flea with his award.
