Local student among ’39 Clues’ winners

Eric H., a 12-year-old student from Solana Beach, won the second prize in the Book 4 sweepstakes for “The 39 Clues” multimedia book contest. More than 660,000 children have registered at www.the39clues.com to play games revolving around the series and earn points.

He was one of 66 children worldwide who won cash prizes. Eric won a $250 cash prize.
