Sunday goes to the dogs at Barktoberfest

The canine crowd brought their owners out on Oct. 18 to Markim Pet Resort on Carmel Valley Road to raise funds and awareness for the Southern California German Shepherd Rescue. Guests enjoyed music, German fare and locally brewed beers as they visited information booths and watched a police dog demonstration among other activities.
