Sweet treats and more at Halloween carnival
R. Roger Rowe School celebrated Halloween with its annual carnival on Oct. 30. A range of carnival games filled the sun-soaked playfields and children, dressed as everything from San Diego Chargers to a marshmallow on a stick, enjoyed the fun day.
Creativity was on display near the cakewalk, where Rowe parents and children had donated inventive and yummy-looking Halloween cakes for winners to choose from. There was even a rock-climbing wall. A popular venue was the DJ stage, where partygoers danced and performed songs.
