Toys for Tots holiday drive now under way

The 11th annual Toys for Tots holiday toy drive started on Nov. 21 with a Marine kickoff event aboard the USS Midway.

Donations of unwrapped toys are accepted at 18 San Diego Self Storage locations, including the centers in Carmel Valley, La Jolla and Solana Beach. For operating hours and physical addresses visit sandiegoselfstorage.com. Jim Coleman’s State Farm Insurance Office in Del Mar, located at 1011 Camino del Mar, is also a drop-off location. Call 755-6794 for hours and information.

Last year, the drive collected more than 7,000 toys for needy children. For more information, visit toysfortots.org.
