Families donate pet food for AniMeals

Sunday school families from St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Del Mar said they were delighted with the response they received to the holiday Angel Tree project. Parishioners brought in pet food donations to be distributed through the Helen Woodward Animal Center’s AniMeals program, which helps offset the cost of companion pets belonging to homebound or low-income elderly and people with disabilities. For many such members of the community, cats and dogs provide friendship, joy and even a reason for living.
