Pennies for Peace totals are in

The totals are in for the funds raised during last year’s Pennies for Peace fundraiser at Del Mar Hills and Del Mar Heights Schools. Del Mar Hills children raised $2,011 and Del Mar Heights raised $1,533.09 while Solana Vista raised $950, just from bringing in spare coins to school. The fundraiser was headed up by the local Kids for Peace chapter and the money will go toward building schools for young women in Pakistan and Afghanistan.
