Academic league starts

Teams from local high schools began competition in this year’s North County Academic League competition on Feb. 4.
The results for the Feb. 4 competitions are below. Their next matchup was set for Feb. 11.
Varsity Coast division:
- Torrey Pines, 138; Canyon Crest, 77
- San Dieguito Academy, 100; Santa Fe Christian, 12
Junior Varsity Coast division:
- Canyon Crest, 98; Torrey Pines, 55
- San Dieguito Academy, 73; Santa Fe Christian, 23
Freshman Coast division:
- Torrey Pines, 88; Canyon Crest, 41
- Santa Fe Christian, 62; San Dieguito Academy, 40
