Cities go head-to-head in bocce ball

Teams from Del Mar and Solana Beach competed against each other Sunday in the 14th Annual Turf Bocce Tournament at the Del Mar Horsepark.

The event is hosted every year by the Del Mar-Solana Beach Rotary Club and is a fundraiser for the club’s many youth programs and humanitarian projects. Proceeds from this year’s tournament benefited the Community Resource Center and the San Diego Advocates for Youth, as well as the club’s international projects.
