Derby Dolls to host Team Legit

The San Diego Derby Doll’s banked track All-Stars will host Team Legit on May 8 at 7 p.m. at the Del Mar Fairgrounds.

Team Legit is an all-star team comprised of skaters from Rat City Roller Girls, B.ay A.rea D.erby Girls, Rose City Rollers, Steel City Derby Demons, Windy City Rollers, Duke City Derby, Denver Roller Dolls, Gotham Girls Roller Derby, Texas Rollergirls, and Sacred City Derby Girls.

Team Legit placed third in the Battle on the Banked II tournament last year, while SD’s All-Stars took the title of champions at the tournament.

Team Legit has one loss this season, losing their first game in March to the LA Ri-ettes, 133-127 LA. The SD All-Stars won their first game this season against the Michigan based all-star team the Mitten Kittens, 193-58.
