Fiesta Del Sol 2010 concerts chosen

The Solana Beach Chamber of Commerce, Green Chamber of San Diego County, the city of Solana Beach and the Belly Up announced a partial lineup of entertainment for the 2010 Fiesta Del Sol Festival on the June 5 and 6 at Fletcher Cove in Solana Beach. This year marks the 31st year for the event.

Saturday performers will include: Hoi Polloi at 1 p.m., Lukas Nelson at 2 p.m., Rolling the Stones at 3 p.m., Sol E Mar at 4:15 p.m., World Anthem at 5:15 p.m., Balkan Beat Box at 6:15 p.m., and the Aggrolites at 7:45 p.m.

Sunday performers will include: Boys and Girls Club at 12:15 p.m., Atomic Groove at 2 p.m., Candye Kane at 3 p.m., Dick Dale at 4 p.m., Timmy Curan at 5:15 p.m., and Stranger at 6:15 p.m.

The finale show will be announced May 8.

Though the concerts are free, a new VIP Ticket will be sold for the Fiesta Del Sol VIP Area. The limited edition ticket, which costs $100, includes one 2-day pass to Fiesta del Sol VIP area, two drink tickets per day for the VIP area, and your name placed on www.FiestaDelSol.net.

The VIP area features short lines to private bar, catering, limited seating and a private bathroom.
