Nik Summit to be held May 13-15

Nik Software Inc. is sponsoring a photographic education event to offer photo enthusiasts and working pros the opportunity to improve their photographic and image editing skills by shooting and learning from many of the world’s leading photographers.

The Nik Summit will run May 13-15 (optional morning shoot May 16) at Hilton San Diego Resort & Spa on Mission Bay. Nik Software Inc. (headquartered in San Diego) is a company that develops software solutions for the digital imaging and photography markets and iconic photography companies .

After experiencing new behind-the-lens techniques and photographing some of the most beautiful areas in Southern California, attendees will learn the latest in digital workflow and image-editing techniques. Keynote presentations by two of the world’s finest working photographers and panel discussions with industry leaders and digital imaging engineers will inspire work to higher levels.

At the end of each day, “fireside chats” with peers and leading pros will provide networking experiences.

The cost is $599.95 and includes shooting sessions at Cabrillo National Monument, Old Town San Diego, Balboa Park and the San Diego Zoo, breakfast and dinner at the hotel, transportation for on-location workshops, sponsor gifts and prize drawings. Register at www.niksummit.com.
