Museum seeks docents

The San Diego Natural History Museum is recruiting for Docents, Canyoneers and Museum Whalers. Training starts in September.

These teams are committed groups of volunteer naturalists who bring the museum’s message to school groups, the public, and passengers onboard the Hornblower Whale and Dolphin Watching cruises.

To apply, go to www.sdnhm.org, choose the Donate menu, and then Volunteers. Complete an online application and receive an invitation to an upcoming orientation on June 4, 10 or 30 or July 22.

The museum phone number is (619) 232-3821.
