Carmel Del Mar hosts districtwide Junior Olympics

The Junior Olympics finals were held at Carmel Del Mar over the weekend, pitting the top athletes from all the Del Mar Union School District sites against each other in the sports of track and field, tennis, basketball and soccer. The PE teachers from each school (except Del Mar Hills) planned individual site competitions leading up to Saturday’s big final. More than 120 students participated. The following students medaled in the three age groups:
