Museum needs docents

The San Diego Natural History Museum is recruiting for Docents, Canyoneers, and Museum Whalers. Training starts in September.

These teams are committed groups of volunteer naturalists who bring the museum’s message to school groups, the public, and passengers onboard the Hornblower Whale and Dolphin Watching cruises.

Each year, the museum trains new volunteers through a combination of lectures, field trips, and practice sessions.

To apply, visit www.sdnhm.org, choose the Donate menu and then Volunteers.

The museum phone number is (619) 232-3821.
