Prudential’s Katie Hawkes honored by peers with Spirit Award

Herb Josepher, manager of Prudential California Realty’s Rancho Santa Fe office, recently announced that Katie Hawkes was recently voted by her fellow associates as the recipient of his office’s Spirit award, in recognition of her enthusiasm and positive attitude. “Katie is consistently praised for her work ethic, energy and professionalism,” said Josepher. “The fact that she has won this award for 13 out of the last 15 years is a strong indicator of her excellent reputation in the real estate community.”

A veteran agent with more than 27 years of experience in real estate, Hawkes has also been recognized with Prudential’s Gold award in recent years. The Gold award is presented to agents who exemplify the essence of professionalism, knowledge and support to their clients and colleagues in the industry.

Hawkes has been involved in real estate and honing her skills in the industry for most of her life. Her effort and tenacity quickly made her one of Rancho Santa Fe’s most highly sought-after professionals when she was an agent for the family business. After many years of success, the family sold the business to Prudential 15 years ago in a move that was based on a desire to spend more time with their clients.

As the head of membership for the Rancho Santa Fe Rotary Club, Hawkes applies a philosophy based on the importance of “Service before Self.” This philosophy, as well as her commitment to the Golden Rule, is an ethical framework that guides her personal and professional life.

“The real estate business taps into the human connection, which for me is the most important ingredient,” said Hawkes. “Relationships are what life is all about. I am very honored and humbled that my peers chose me to receive this award.”

By diligently working to ensure that she provides thorough and knowledgeable assistance, Hawkes has earned referrals and repeat business from an expansive base of clientele. A Prudential 10-year Legend award winner, she has consistently ranked in the top three percent or higher out of the company’s 60,000 agents nationwide. Katie Hawkes can be contacted through Prudential California Realty’s Rancho Santa Fe office, at 858-922-2226, via email at, or on the web at
