Michelle Obama to visit Camp Pendleton on Sunday

Michelle Obama will visit Camp Pendleton on Sunday to meet with Marines and their families, the White House announced Thursday.

According to the White House, the first lady will have private conversations with military families before publicly addressing those stationed at the base and from the surrounding community.

The visit is part of Obama’s “national call to action” address the challenges faced by military families and to build stronger civilian-military community ties.
