Suspected illegal immigrants apprehended at Torrey Pines
Seven suspected illegal immigrants who swam ashore at Torrey Pines State Beach were in custody Monday, police said.
The group was spotted about 8 p.m. Sunday, San Diego Officer Dino Delimitros said.
An 18-foot boat was drifting nearby, he said.
