Susane Roberts joins Del Mar Foundation board

Susane Roberts brings years of financial expertise to the Del Mar Foundation Board as she begins her first of two three-year terms.

A resident of Del Mar for more than 25 years, Roberts has served on the View Blockage Abatement Committee for the city of Del Mar and served on the Board of Directors of Wavecrest for two terms.

“I have met most of the board members and I am awed by the dedication of all of these people,” Roberts said. “I look forward to working with them and hope that I am able to meet their expectations. It is my privilege to give back to Del Mar.”

As one of the first female CPAs in 1962, along with Kathy Finnell, Roberts began her career in accounting at a time when women weren’t suppose to do these things.

She is presently active in real estate with Prudential California Realty, married to Bill Roberts, and has two grown children.

New Foundation endeavors include the Hospitality Committee, which will welcome newcomers to the community. For more information, visit
