Campers pitch in to clean up park

The city of Solana Beach partnered with Kids Korps to clean up La Colonia Park and the surrounding neighborhoods on the morning of July 23. This was the third year the city has teamed with the Kids Korps camp. The Kids Korps summer program is funded by the city’s Community Grant program. The cleanup started with an interactive watershed presentation by the Solana Center for Environmental Innovation, then city staff led the groups on a trash pickup.
