Crimes and arrests in October

The numbers of crimes other than domestic violence with valid addresses and selected arrests/citations that were reported to the San Diego County’s Automated Regional Justice Information System (ARJIS) by Oct. 30 for the period from Oct. 1 to Oct. 30, 2010 in Carmel Valley, Del Mar Heights, North City, and Torrey Highlands, four of the seven San Diego City neighborhoods covered by the SDPD’s Northwestern Division, are shown below for the various incident types that can be selected in ARJIS Crime MAPS at www.arjis.org. There you can also get a map of incident locations and a report with incident hundred-block addresses, dates, and times.

Carmel Valley
43 Crimes: 3 commercial burglary, 6 malicious mischief/vandalism, 8 residential burglary, 1 sex other than rape, 2 simple assault other than DV, 5 theft, 13 vehicle break-ins, and 5 vehicle theft

19 Arrests/citations: 2 curfew violation, 3 driving under the influence, 2 drunk in public, and 12 narcotics

Del Mar Heights
9 Crimes: 1 commercial burglary, 5 residential burglary, 1 theft, 1 vehicle break-in, and 1 vehicle theft
0 Arrests/citations

North City
3 Crimes: 1 simple assault other than DV and 2 theft
2 Arrests/citations: 1 drunk in public and 1 narcotics
Torrey Highlands
4 Crimes: 1 commercial burglary, 1 malicious mischief/vandalism, and 2 vehicle break-ins
2 Arrests/citations: 2 driving under the influence
