Carmel Valley homes targeted by burglars

Carmel Valley residents are encouraged to report any suspicious activity in their neighborhoods to the San Diego Police Department’s Northwestern Division. The Carmel Valley News has received several reports by residents recently of suspects — pretending to be with an alarm company — approaching homeowners and asking the homeowners if they have alarm systems. Later in the day those same homes were burglarized, according to the residents. For more information, contact the police department at 858-523-7000.
