Free parking offered in downtown Del Mar during the holidays

The free all-day parking program for the downtown Village includes parking along 15th Street, the metered parking under the L’Auberge Del Mar and extends down Camino del Mar from 15th Street to 4th Street. The free parking takes place on weekends including, Nov. 26-27, Dec. 4-5, 11-12, 18-19 and Dec. 24, 25, 31 and Jan. 1.

“We want people to enjoy the unique village atmosphere that Del Mar offers,” said Del Mar Mayor Richard Earnest. “Strolling through Del Mar to visit our wonderful restaurants and shops without being concerned about parking adds to the relaxed and festive ambience.
