Pancakes, toy and food drive at Ocean Air Rec Center Dec. 4

The Ocean Air Community Recreation Center in Carmel Valley will celebrate its first holiday season with a special community event on Saturday, Dec. 4. The center will host a pancake breakfast and toy and food drive supporting the Toys for Tots and San Diego Food Bank from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Bring an unwrapped toy or non-perishable food and receive tickets to the pancake breakfast. The event will also feature arts and crafts, face painting, music, games and a visit from Santa Claus.Breakfast tickets can be purchased for $5 on the day of the event. Before the Dec. 4 event, toy and food donations can also be dropped off at the center at 4770 Fairport Way off East Ocean Air Drive.
