The Main Street development does not seem right for Carmel Valley. Is should be down sized to 5 story buildings and more free parking.

@ DF Drise - Really? Don't worry, if people don't shop, the retail stores will close. There is no pedestrian mall in Carmel valley. Let's have one where we can take our families instead of having to drive to 20 miles to San Diego.

Looking forward to having Main Street. Makes sense for the location, and looks like it will be done very tastefully. Carmel Valley needs something special, like the Grove or the other town centers designed for families and people of all ages.

More retail? Really? This area is already saturated with too much retail, and developers what to add more? Maintain what is existing and stop the construction, it is getting old. We need a new park anyway.
