Solana Beach Center For A Healthy Lifestyle ‘Gardenporium’ event May 14 to feature great food, movie, activities

Solana Beach Center For A Healthy Lifestyle (at the Boys and Girls Club) will air a screening of “Mad City Chickens” at their “Gardenporium” event this Saturday, May 14. The screening will be held at 11:30 a.m. in the gym; the Gardenporium event runs from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

What IS a Gardenporium? It’s a homemade, handgrown, hand-me-down market featuring local gardeners, artists and healthy vendors from the community.

The event also includes: A compost workshop from Solana Center!; food from Jimbo’s; fruit carving class; kids activities; meet their instructors and more.
Bring the entire family to learn, discover and play in the center’s magical yellow cottage.

The center is located at 533 Lomas Santa Fe Drive, Solana Beach, 92075; www.solanacenter.org.
