Del Mar Foundation to hold a variety of unique events in June

The Del Mar Foundation will hold the following events in June:

Wednesday, June 1: Del Mar Foundation Grant Application Deadline. Visit www.delmarfoundation.org and click on What We Do and Community Grants for the application and other information.

Thursday, June 2: First Thursdays, Adrienne Nims and Spirit Wind, Del Mar Powerhouse Community Center, 7 p.m. This series is sold out.

Sunday, June 5: Summer Kickoff Beach Party, co-sponsored by the Del Mar Foundation Children’s and Hospitality Committees, Del Mar Powerhouse Community Center and Park, 3 – 5 p.m. Join us for summer crafts, information about sea life and the ocean environment, a beach walk/clean up, live music and ice cream and cookies.

Wednesday, June 8: Del Mar Foundation Cultural Arts Committee, Del Mar Powerhouse Community Center, 8:30 a.m.

Thursday, June 16: Del Mar Foundation Board Meeting, City Hall Annex, 8 a.m.

Tuesday, June 21: Del Mar Foundation Summer Twilight Concert featuring Atomic Groove, Del Mar Powerhouse Park, 7 p.m.

The Children’s Committee and Hospitality Committee will not meet in June, July or August.
