David Alan Collection event benefits tsunami victims
The David Alan Collection introduced its new arrivals of antique Japanese furnishings and art at a reception July 28. The event featured a silent auction to help tsunami victims, Japanese food and drinks, and demonstrations of Japanese arts and crafts, including traditional woodworking and the art of brush painting called Sumi-e.
