I am a disabled vietnam-era veteran who was the last 2 years residing in a transitional housing complex for homeless veterans. I was just granted a Choice Voucher for housing for myself, wife, and 12 year old daughter. The voucher is for Solana Beach and Del Mar, for a maximum of $1,387.00 per month for a two-bedroom apartment. I am having diffficulty finding a 2bd in the aforementioned two cities. Could the Solano Beach and Del Mar Housing Authorities assist me in finding rentals? If so, please direct me to whom can help. Thank You,

In my experience, the last person you want dealing with this, if you want a productive, positive, efficient solution to the problem is City attorney Johanna Canlas. It was my impression she is not too bright when it comes to simple logic, and thinks that a sneer and a bad attitude are a substitute for intelligence.

there is low income apartments throughout the city. how about turning them into condos and walla! problem fixed. magnusp
