We have lost money from our hotel reservations. We would really love to be part of this contest but on this date there is already another surf contest in huntington beach. It's not fair us having to choose between the two since mostly everyone has made plans to go around this event. I understand the concerns and i have no problem with the date having to change i just wish it wasn't the same date as the other surf contest. Please reconsider a different date other then the 25th this way in October you have more time and you will have a lot of happy surf dog parents. HWAC knew this when they changed the date thus forcing surFURS, spectators, and vendors to choose which event to attend. We are hoping that they will change the date to a date in October so that all the surFURS who did register for both events will be able to attend!
