The Del Mar Shores Cinema Series kicked off at sunset Sept. 10 at Del Mar Shores Park with a trio of award-winning films that put a new twist on the traditional surf flick. The event featured gourmet food trucks, including mobile “cupcakery” Corner Cupcakes (of Food Network “Cupcake Wars” fame), the Bearclaw coffee truck and Flippin Pizza.
