The PTA at Del Mar Hills Academy kicked off the school year Sept. 16 with its annual ice cream social. With piles of pizza — and more than 500 dishes of ice cream, donated by Del Mar Plaza’s Sunset Yogurt & Ice Cream—kids and family members enjoyed a Friday evening of games, limbo, hula hoops and a DJ.
